Inside your home

Kitchen & bathrooms — It’s a good life for ants, cockroaches, and rodents. It’s why we inspect under sinks, behind appliances, and along baseboards for activity and entry points.

Icons 5

Bedrooms & living areas — Pests love to keep a low profile. From ants along baseboards and windows to spiders in wall voids. We check furniture, outlets, and windows.

Attic & crawl spaces — Out of sight is often exactly how pests like it. It’s why we inspect attics and crawl spaces for nesting, droppings, insulation damage, and entry points.

Basement & foundation — A little moisture and a small gap can go a long way for centipedes and rodents. It’s why we inspect for cracks, drainage issues, and entry points.

Outside Your Home

Yard, garden & perimeter — We inspect for wasp nests, standing water, mulch beds, wood piles, and overgrown vegetation around your home.

Eaves, windows & entry points — For pests, a tiny gap is as good as an open door, which is why we inspect eaves, windows, doors, and utility lines for common entry points.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Aptive Pest Control Services.

How do you treat for Black Widow or Brown Recluse spiders?

We use specialized residual sprays and glue traps in dark, quiet areas such as garages, closets, and basements where these spiders prefer to hide. Regular service creates an ongoing barrier that deters their return.

Do you remove spider webs from the exterior of my home?

Yes, we de-web the eaves, windows, and porch during every service visit. This removes the spiders’ food source and resting spots, helping keep your home looking clean and reducing spider populations over time.

How do you treat ticks in the backyard?

We use targeted liquid applications on tall grass, perimeter foliage, and wooded edges where ticks wait to attach to hosts. Ticks are a key add-on service and are best controlled through consistent seasonal treatment combined with clearing leaf litter.

Can you remove a yellow jacket nest from the ground?

Yes, we specialize in stinging insect control including underground yellow jacket nests. We use protective equipment and targeted products to neutralize hives. Yellow jacket trap placement is also included in Pro, Pro+, and Premium plans.

How do I prevent wasps from nesting under my deck?

We apply preventative residual sprays in the spring to make the underside of your deck unattractive to scout wasps looking for nesting sites. Regular barrier maintenance is the most effective long-term prevention.
